FrostFizz is a recipe site. This page explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we do not collect much.
What we collect
- Account details. If you sign in to rate or comment, we store your email address. If you use Google sign-in, we also receive your name and profile photo from Google so we can show them next to your comments.
- Your content. The ratings and comments you post, and the time you posted them.
- Basic technical data. Our host records standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
How we use it
To let you sign in, to show your ratings and comments, to keep average ratings accurate, and to keep the site working and free of spam. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
We use a few trusted services to run FrostFizz, and your data passes through them only so the site can work:
- Supabase for accounts, sign-in, and storing comments and ratings.
- Cloudflare for hosting and image delivery.
- Google if you choose to sign in with Google.
We do not share your data with anyone else.
Cookies and local storage
We keep a small amount of data in your browser: your light or dark theme choice, and a sign-in session if you log in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
Keeping and deleting your data
You can delete your own comments at any time while signed in. If you want your account and everything tied to it removed, email us and we will take care of it.
Children
FrostFizz is not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
